Highly recommend a cateye uno for the front , only take's one battery and has powerful beam 15 hrs constant 60 hrs flash it get's you seen not like a halogen bulb light that tend's to drain the batterie's in 20 minute's also one of the most compact. For the back i use a 3leds eurolight or smart at around a fiver although if you are willing to spend a tenner then edinburgh bicycle co-operative have a sale on the now and there is a smart with half a mile visability .P.S TRY EBAY FOR THE UNO THAT'S WHERE I GOT MINE and i recommend those flashing arm and leg band's which get you considerible respect from most motorist's whom tend to give you more room.
