I think the main issue Classic is that the carabiners that are padlocked together simply unclip so the lock can just be bypassed. A quality lock if ever there was one

Cut the stitching holding the end of the rope that forms the eye.

nah, just unclip the carabiner, no scissors required. Only tools required = hands/fingers
