Bike rack

Anybody know how this fits to the bike Im not up on racks,and am thinking of fitting one to my 26 rigid mtb do you think this would do the job ?

It's not got discs has it? If so, it might not fit. If it hasn't, the bottom goes on the mudguard braze-ons and the long silver arms go on the braze-ons on the seat stays and if it doesn't have any, you need P-clips or you can get a seatpost collar with the fittings for a rack to replace/supplement your current one. That's it! Hey presto, bob's your auntie. Looks a sturdy enough rack too.

I think I've got the exact thing on my old racer that I'm about to spray. I'll see if I can take a photograph of the setup - but I'm in post operation recovery so I won't be able to wheel the bike into the light.
