L74. Lie back on the couch and relax. Let me explain.

The crank represents your sexual identity. It's disconnection from your feet represents the loss you felt when your mother first took you from her breast. The wetness of the road, and the slipperiness of the wheel represents your lack of control and shock as you emerged from the birth canal.

No, people do not post accounts of their dreams on this website. I can't imagine why......

What about my dream of pumping my tyres up? The more I pumped, the more excited I became (in my dream); suddenly all this anti-puncture sealant gunk stuff was flying everywhere.

Fnaar. Lie back on the couch and relax.....I frequently dream about my bike being stolen. However I have, since childhood, developed a kind of panic button which allows me to interrupt the dream. I say to myself, while still dreaming, 'this is just a dream and you don't have to put up with it' and then I either wake up, or dream a happier dream. The house contents insurers never thank me for this though...

I remember having such a vivid dream as a kid, i got a new bike for christmas :tongue::tongue: I could see it propped up in the bedroom :tongue::tongue:

Then i woke up....it was one of those fuddled moments when you wake up and you're absolutely convinced it was real....where's the bike

celeste is a filthy little slut who I can ride when and as I choose...but thats reality ...you were talking dreams right?:rolleyes:

I remember a dream I had a few years ago. In the dream I had locked my bike to a fence, while I went into my local LBS to do a bit shopping.
When I came out there was a guy trying to get my lock off. I ran over and kneed him in the side of the head!

Unfortunately for Mrs AF, she was asleep next to me and promply got a knee straight up the backside! Of course it woke us both up, and I just said well you shouldnt have tried to nick my bike!

She eventually saw the funny side whne the pain wore off.

I once had a dream that I got in a fight with an arse at my school....I woke up having just kicked the wall.

I have loads of bicycle dreams where I can barely pedal and I'm going really slowly and the road surface just gets heavier then sometime the bike disappears altogether and i'm still trying to pedal sort of lying on the road and i'm not making much progress and then the tarmac goes really soft and sticky and my legs and arms get trapped in it and i'm still trying to pedal and getting more and more stuck. Horrible it is.

I like that feeling when I've been riding all day and I'm at home or in a B&B or wherever and I'm just dozing off and I can still "see" the road unravelling before me. It works for driving too, but the bicycle version is nicer.
