bike size

I'm only 5'2 and i have a medium hybred bike, I have noticed lately that i seem to be sitting right on the end of the saddle, i have it as far back as possible but feel like i could do with another couple of inches
Could it be that bike is too small or is there a way to get saddle even further bck

No, it will push the bars further forward.
Assuming you have a female spec bike then I think the stems are usually quite short. What make/model bike do you have?

EDIT - Misread your post - By stem I dont mean the seatpost but the bit that holds the handlebars forward.

Possibly saddle is too low. That actually sounds as though the bike might be too big being a medium, as my wife is 5'4" and rides a small Pinnacle Stratus ?

Picture of bike and saddle height ?, or a picture of you sat on it with pedal at lowest position (just to see knee angle of course) !!!!

That was my thought, I ride a small and I'm taller than 5'4"
