Lidls sizing is always pretty weird, or is that Germanic in proportions. They never seem to stock S sized cycling shorts and no such size is listed in the promotion.

Just been and got a jersey (last 1 left) and some socks. Didn't fancy anything else that they had left.

I tested the stuff and lights I bought the other day, this morning. I was fairly impressed, TBH. I went and got another set.

They are really quite acceptable, for a 7 quid light set, the beam pattern is quite wide, and they were bright enough to get me up an unlit track, at about 6 this morning, with no issues. I got a pair of bib tights, and a long sleeved Jersey whilst I was at it. Hardly surprisingly, the medium bibs had all gone, but the Large ones are not too huge on me .

I bought a couple of extra pairs of socks. I bought 3 pairs the last time Lidl had some in and I like them. I also bought a long-sleeved jersey. I just bought one from Evans for £22. The Lidl jersey is about 3/4 of the quality for 1/3 of the price, which I consider to be a bargain. The medium size fits me pretty well. I used to be XL for most brands and more like L since I lost weight so I would say that the sizing is very 'generous'. (I could tell at a glance that the so-called medium was bigger than most other medium-sized garments that I have seen.)

I'm not going to bother to go. It's not that I don't like their gear, it's just last time I went to the local aldi for their cycling event it was full of fat skanks, looked like they had never even seen a bike let alone ridden one, elbowing and literally pushing each other aside to rake all the cycling offers off the shelves.

Multiples 8+ of each product in multiple sizes, to be put up on their ebay pages later when aldi ran out of stock. :cursing:

It's got so bad that the manager has started rationing out the special buys and only puts so much out per day as customers were getting really p1ssed off.

Those lights are much the same as their rechargeable set so if you have a 6v adapter you can permanently insert rechargeables in the front one.

Got a nice long sleeve Jersey not the greatest quality but it will do over a base layer come winter not bad for 9 quid

^^Wore mine in anger last night and was well-chuffed. Could feel the wind through the zip a little, but with a base layer, should be alright till December at least. Only slight downside is that the shoulders are a bit square and wrinkly so you look a tad Spandau Ballet
