Sweeney Kincaid are auctioning off a load of bike-related stuff next week. A couple of adult bikes, lots of kids stuff, clothing, spares etc.
Auction is online, closing Wednesday, collection on Thurs or Tues after Easter. You need to collect on those days from their depot just outside Glasgow.
Sweeney Kincaid are a commercial auctioneer who typically auction off surplus stock, or assets from companies that have ceased trading. I’ve bought a fair amount of stuff from them before, although nothing bike related.
In this case, I don’t see too many bargains yet. Most of the stuff so far hasn’t reached the reserve price.
If bidding, be aware that you have to add auctioneers commission (15%) on to the hammer price, then add VAT - so the amount you pay will be about a third more than the bid price.
