Does anybody else get a tan in low sunlight while they're out cycling?

I do and my face and hands are now noticably darker than the rest of my body. I thought it was just me but my gym instructor has turned a bright pink colour (she's always out on her roadbike).

Have thinks like this always happened or is it a recent phenomena? If so could it be due to the depleted ozone layer letting in more UV light?

Sure it's not rust ? It's been pretty damp for a drought.

Normally I get people asking me whether I've just come back from holiday at this time of the year. This time around, it's simply not happening for me. 4 months into the year and my knees have only had one outing.

The "hair stylist ", for some reason i always think fake tan when i see a salon
I am a self cut bovver boy cut man, wearing a hard hat all day and a.... cycle helmet duh duh duh duh duuuuuhh !! i find a hairstyle would not look good .

And for the couple of times i have had the legs out i already have a bit of cycle tan going on.

Last week a person at work asked if I had just come back from holiday, so I must be starting to tan.

Just don`t look like a tour de France rider without their shirts on.

Why don`t they use a sunbed to balance themselves up

The often look as though they have escaped from an asylum.

Ive got a good tan going on many are baffled by my tanned face and arms and one cheeky git even asked if id been on a sun bed and its a nice day here again and there's no drought and no you cant have any of our water

We don`t need any of your water. It is only the dry rain we are short of. We have had plenty of the wet stuff

Yup. The backs of my hands are pale while my fingers and arms are sporting a deep tan
