Bike thefts in Glasgow?

Hi,

I'm a student at Strathclyde University and was wondering if anyone has had their bike stolen recently or has seen anyone (trying to) stealing bikes in Glasgow. I have to write a newstory assignment for my Journalism class and I've chosen to write about bike thefts. I'd be really grateful if anyone had any information to give and if you could PM me your name and contact details just for the report to go alongside the assignment.

There's "Hi-Vis blindness" to consider, where ever the thefts take place.

The wearing of which, whilst acting as though you have every right to be there, renders you "invisible" to passers by who'll seldom question what you are doing.
