I have seen a few reviews of this brake and all good reviews but some say once your pads wear out throw the brakes away as there is no spares ? well I use these brakes and they stop well and I mean well no matter what the conditions are, they are easily bled or worked on and I love them.
Its true Halfords have dis continued these brakes but if you ask they can still order spares and pads etc but be prepared to pay over £25 per set
but if you look around you can find replacement pads eventually elsewhere as I did online from woolly hat shop..... they do a pad thats identical to the halfords original but much cheaper and I been running mine for 5 yrs and still the pads have not worn but as I saw these cheaper ones of very high quality and I bought 2 sets for when the originals do finally wear out 
The cheaper ones are £7.99 per pack delivered and are A2Z Blue Disc Brake Pads Dia-tech Anchor/Armor AZ740........And from http://www.woollyhatshop.com/brake-pads/other-branded-disc-brake-pads/cat_67.html
