Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll pass.
I don't think they make refreshers anymore do they. ?
That's not how I remember it. Holidays were always grey skies and rain.It was always sunnier in those days as well and summer was longer
Mars bars were twice the size they are now
60s bikes were a lot faster than 80s bikes, though it's true that 80s bikes were faster than modern ones. The fastest ones though were the bikes in the 70s, and that was despite in the early 70s being the same bike as was fast in the 60s.Can I open an even bigger can of worms here. If you think the 80s were bigger, better, stronger, longer then what about the 60s......
It's the budget version of the Raleigh Team Panasonic. My first proper racer which I remember with great affection. It was quite a bit faster up hills than my current racer despite my new one being lighter and having mostly 105 bits 'n' bobs. (Stop me if I get too technical. A more correct term might be "doodads")Given your avatar, this works on several levels.
(well two)
Harnessing horses to pull a bike is a freaking genius idea.Cars loose their horsepower as they get older, so evidently do bikes.
I hope this is true. If so my past self will get exponentially better the older I become. If I can manage to live long enough then my past self will become infinitely good and be able to transcend space and time and come and rescue my old, decrepit self from its ancient crapitude. Sounds like a plan to me.I'm witnessing the beginnings of an outbreak of "The older I get, the better I was" syndrome.
i only saw the last 8 so cant really commentCan I open an even bigger can of worms here. If you think the 80s were bigger, better, stronger, longer then what about the 60s......
