Bikes on Teslas

Hi, for anyone who has a Tesla, how do you carry bikes on it and how many do you carry? (Particularly interested carrying 4 bikes on an M3 or MY).

Also, if you have a towbar, does it deploy electrically or do you have to manually remove it?

We have a model 3 with towbar. It's a manual installation behind a panel. You can also get roof bars for the Tesla. https://shop.tesla.com/en_gb/product/model-3-roof-rack

I would have no worries putting 4 standard weight bikes on a tow bar.

Note, don't leave your towbar installed over winter or for prolonged periods. The locking key is very small and the lock prone to corrosion from road salts and rain . I know from experience, it took a fair bit of WD to free up the key slot. It still doesn't work properly even though I can now get the tow bar on or off.
