Biking holiday (sort of)

Im now on countdown for next weekends departure, to sunny Seahouses (north Sunderland) Sun and wed I'll spending the day sea fishing, mon, tue and thur riding will be looking at doing my first 50 mile and "possibly" my first 100k but one step at a time, although nothing other than coastal roads and sea air in the way to stop me. Any one ridden up that way before ..?

I've done the Great North Bike Ride a couple of times. It starts in Seahouses and heads south to Tynemouth. Lots of nice roads around there. You can head north to Scotland one day, south another and inland on the final day.
