There was an accident going south on Bishopsgate just before the Fenchurch Street junction yesterday outside M & S. I only saw a huge amount of blood being mopped up by the Police at about 5.50 pm. No ambulance and no vehicles in sight.

Does anyone know what happened? It's not necessarily a cyclist and more likely a Ped as the road narrows here and the Peds are particularly Zombie like. It always makes you think; that could be me.

I go past there at a bit earlier, I agree, the peds on Bishopsgate are like zombies.

Always a horrible sight, the blood mopping up bit after a RTC. Would be a good community punishment for errant road users to do the mopping. Bishopsgate has been 'chock-a-block' with additional traffic due to a number of roads shut in the area, so take extre care when around that area of town.
