Its starting to make me think that some people are REALLY stupid. And I mean in a "I got your nose" kind of a way...

Certain roads I use drivers are usually expected to act like morons, get impatient, cut me up, even get verbal sometimes. However I got myself one of those Crash Test Dummy jerseys from Foska and all of a sudden its wide overtakes, keeping their distance, not rushing to the lights...

Do you think the words on the back are being taken literally?

I have the "Bones" Scotchlite, and that certainly works during the winter!

Best comment yet though was not from a motorist. Taking photos in a church when small child turns to mother and asks "Is that man dead because I can see all his bones!"

Obviously at work I have a rather fetching "Give me lots of room if you know what's good for you!" cycling top. However, the commute probably needs a Bright yellow jersey, with Cambridgshire POLICE Cycling Club on the back. I was thinking the Cambridgeshire should be in a Yellow font, above the Police, which would be a white font on a Blue rectangular background, to make it stand out. Then maybe the CC in yellow too......

That would be correct. Unless you are a serving Police Officer you cannot wear anything that may give somebody the idea you are a Police Officer and then use it to obtain some form of advntage!

If it says POLICE and looks like it should be worn by a Police officer you shouldn't wear it! Foriegn stuff Polizie, POLTI or even the POLITE tops are fine as far as I am concerned!
