We used to have a neighbours dog that would come into our garden to do its business

A remote control car soon sorted that...

Wait until the dog was "comfortable" and then buzz it with it he RC car

Took about three weeks before it learnt and stopped

not sure if this is an urban myth or not - but heard of a runner, who, on seeing, a dog fowl the footpath, and its owner walk off without clearing up, scooped up the poop in his Kevlar gloves, and ran after the woman, shouting..... "stop, stop you've dropped something...... "
She turned round and held out her hand..... and the still warm poop was safely returned to its rightful owner, and the runner made a sharp exit...... would be nice to think there's an element of truth there....

Plenty of videos on YouTube of people doing similar.

Used to live next to a school. The number of dog walkers descending to the school field as soon as the sun set was mind boggling. You see the shadows making their way and avoiding the light from the street lamps. Even at the height of summer, it was alway after the sun set.

That's another of my pet hates...
L'il bags of poo hanging on a post..

That's one of the prizes for the first person past the post: they win a lot.

I saw a variation of that in London a couple of weeks ago. Strolling around Mayfair, where there's a bit of a shortage of proper fence posts, I noticed the pretty poly bags in pastel colours (none of your old Morrison or Co-op bags) placed carefully at the foot of the lighting columns. Strange people:wacko:.

Still sent the video to the Council though, who fined him!

Now there's a novel use for a helmet camera! I commend you on your originality, not to mention civic mindedness!

No fan of dog sh*t myself, I have to pick up enough of the stuff before I mow the lawns
