You've got to do it with the teeth in situ Rocky, works for meAre we talking about my teeth again? If so I'll put them back in.
Nay, nay. Old Victorian terrace but one of the rooms has been sliced and diced for an en-suite thingy. One bathroom. Wow chez crackle must be a mansion if there is more than one
After you've picked them up??????Wonder if that approach will work with my teeth![]()
How would you get it to stick where it was needed though?I'm sure Teflon must be the answer somehow.
As long as it's a glass you put them in, not a plastic tumbler.Wonder if that approach will work with my teeth![]()
Splendid! I had my doubts before I tried it too.@slowmotion my wife has done this today and says you deserve a big hug.
Perhaps one from me too, as otherwise I would have been cutting out and renewing the silicone.
Excellent! Thank Google. My much-better-half has just done the bathroom using this technique and it's come up brilliantly.
Thanks for the tip.
Yes, more light too. Mould doesn't like light, I read. There's a 4 inch Soler and Palau in-line duct fan ( 100cfm, free air) that ventilates the shower but I suspect the ducting is very badly sealed. Thanks for the reminder.More ventilation might stop the mould from growing in the first place?
Most small (4 inch ) wall-mounted bathroom extractor fans are absolute junk, and blooming expensive and noisy to boot. You get far more ventilation from an open window, especially if you leave the bathroom door open as well.I've just had a small bedroom made into a bathroom and building regs required a noisy extractor fan linked to the light switch, despite there being a big window that can be thrown open. I queried the need for the fan but apparently it's to combat just these problems with moisture remaining in the house (most people don't like opening windows). I prefer to keep the fan switched off and open the window instead.
