My point exactlyandylaw79 said:The Scottish make up a large majority of visitors to Blackpool. In fact they have a Scottish fortnight in July/August.
I used to go to uni in Carlisle and the train home on a Friday afternoon used to be packed with Scots on their way to Blackpool for the weekend. After an hour or so on the train from either Glasgow or Edinburgh and a few drinks…lets just say it used to be a bit lively.
