Hello!! Well, me and a friend are doing a Blackpool to London Charity Cycle April 2013. And I was wondering if you had any tips, advice, training knowledge pointer's and need's, as we are both fairly new to the world of cycling! We have done it for a good few months now and REALLY enjoy it. Any replies will be great :-) Also any of you great people have any route's we could do as we are currently planning a few ourselves... The quickest, but most scenic route's being high up on our list!! But again any replies on this would be amazing!! Or just any input would help massively. Thank you. James :-)

Lots to think about there James.
What bikes are you riding and what do you intend to do for accomodation.?
Options for accomodation you may not have thought of are Warmshoers, hostelworld, Couchsurfers, Airbnb.
There are a lot of cycle route planning programmes on the internet. I am in Denmark, but I am sure the UK guys will keep you straight.
I would certainly add Chester, Stratford and Oxford on the route. merely because I like those places.
