I have had several crawlies under my helmet this summer, seems if I just let them get on with it and chill out they manage to find their way out somehow. The urge to wrench off the helmet is huge though

To me, "twat hat" implies aero lid - I've not heard it used for any old helmet before.

As pointed out to me on several occasions by work mates, all cyclists look like twats when they wear helmets. ( Stronger words for lycra wearers!)
Valid point i thought, can't really argue with that!
Hence, i call my helmet a twat hat!

If that was me my face would have swollen up in 10 minutes and I would have passed out, I'm pretty damn allergic to bee stings.

This topic jinxed me. I felt something drop on my head today as I walked out of a shop and went to pull it out of my hair, it felt a bit furry like a flower bud. If only. WASP. It didn't sting me though, just flew off.
