The columnist in the Evening Standard yesterday (written in the same office building as the DM if I'm not mistaken) mainly concentrated his ire on RideLondon, but yes, did also spew a little bile at the Marathon and closing down various London parks for events at the same time. Basically, no one is allowed to have any fun anywhere if it prevents him from driving 500 yards to the shops.
