It was a bid too hot and arid for me today. The lunchtime footy was tough on the feet cos the ground is drying out so quickly - might need to switch from boots to trainers. Ride home was energy-sapping!

4 stone of surplus fat makes me really suffer in the heat - how on earth did you survive hot weather when you were 25+ stone overweight?

Ride naked or ride easy, I usually ride easy when I commute but in this weather I back it off a bit more.I love the heat and the sun when I'm riding but its a total pain when I'm working, working up a sweat running round a busy warehouse is not what I need.

I was amazed how hard it hit me today...major cramp. My hamstrings damn near seized up. Ouch in spades. Apart from that, lovely!
