That was called Pigface, amongst other things, where I grew up. We used to eat bits of it, especially the fruit

A photo from last June. The Council had been leaving some areas of roadside verge uncut, with wildflower seeds scattered in those areas. It seems to have been popular with local residents. I hope they continue the policy this year.
