Typical bank holiday Monday here. The rain had stopped by lunchtime so I went for a quick spin.

The wheels did get a quick wash in two flooded lanes, however.

I walked it to the football match today. Three mostly uphill miles in half an hour soon warms you up:heat:. Then when i'd been stood there for half an hour the cold set in:cold:. Even 5 layers and thick gloves didn't help much. Mind you,being wet didn't help either:rain:. The floodlights were on throughout the game,which is an unusual sight for an afternoon match in April. Ah well,at least the heavy rain's started to wash the walked in dog shoot away.xx(

Yesterday morning it was wall to wall sunshine and I enjoyed an early morning bike that took in around 40 miles. Sun glasses on and my cycling jacket even felt a little to warm. This morning at around 5,30 I looked out of the bedroom window and it was white over. Its done nothing but rain all day :=((

I opened the thread expecting it to be about castrated male sheep. I imagined Classic33 running amok in here. Disappointed to find it was actually about weather.

I purposefully didn't put an "a" in because I always spell it wrong, turns out I got it the wrong way round again.

Still raining here that's a solid 24hrs at least, lovely!.

I would prefer it to be like that than the sleety, slushy, depressing grey-skied weather we had here today. If we had reliable winters then I would probably have got into winter sports. Pristine snow and blue skies, nice!
Yes. I think so. Cross-country skiing is what cyclists do in the winter here. It's the perfect combo.

Worth it for that result though Accy!!

2 wins and 1 draw will seal promotion for you.

Woke this morning to a heavy fall of snow.
Snowed continuously for a few hours then started to turn to sleet, then rain. Been raining continuously since late morning.

Result = extremely wet snow.

Seriously fed up with the godawful weather now.
