Got a visit from the p-fairy yesterday. Bought a new tube today from Evans - a spesh 700x18c for £8.99:ohmy: Fitted the tube, and in the process of inflating said tube, the tube decided to blow at about 60psi. I suspect it may have been a defective tube, can't think of any other reason it would have blown like it did. Still have the receipt so may try and return it for a new one tomorrow.

It's well known that Spesh tubes are not the greatest...

What do you mean by "blow"? Did it explode or just deflate? If it exploded, what was the tyre doing at the time?

Could have been pinched when putting the tyre on or there may be something sharp in the tyre - run your hand around the inside of the tyre.

You will then be able to identify the sharp bit because it will be marked in red.
