so finished building it a 250w bafang mid drive. havent been out for a bit due to weather and ripping my knee up. haven't tried a bafang 250 on a recumbent so was a first try as i'm used to 750w. it was ok averaged 10 mph ish got up a couple of mid banks. top speed of just over 20mph.
but what was strange is i'm trying to help a disabled person who only has use of the right arm. so i did the 3 miles with only my right arm, and i managed no problem. at 20 it started getting a bit shacky but up to 15 no bother.
though for fun i like 750w better
