My right Shimano winter boot felt a little loose today. Got home and the thing has come apart.
Went onto the Boa website and they offer a lifetime warranty
2 -7 days for replacements, tool and instructions.
Top service.

Yes I think it's worth buying the boa versions rather than cheap imitations. If they fail you might be scrapping the shoe.

It always was. Shoe manufacturer and 'tier' is irrelevant, BOA warranty is separate, and as you say - lifetime. I can confirm it's very simple to do the swap.

The only trouble is that you need a spare pair of shoes until the replacement laces arrive.

Sorry to resurrect a zombie thread but one of the BOA laces went in my Specialized Torch 2.0 shoes so I went to the BOA website, filled in the survey, they said they had a replacment lace set, $32.00 please? I thought their lifetime warranty was free?

Weird. I did a Google search for BOA Warranty, went to the same webpage, clicked on the same link, it asked me additional questions and when I got through to the end the repair kit was free?
Anyway, problem solved, I just be wearing my winter boots for a few days until the repair kit gets here 🙂

I've always thought BOA laces are a solution to a problem that doesn't exist, just like wireless gearing on bikes.
