Hi @rickbourne

I think that correct sizing is far more important than a few hundred grammes lower weight.

If your bike doesn't fit you properly it might cause you some aches & pains or even injury & you then won't ride your bike so much.

As I said, I have a very nice & light carbon bike but it won't stop me adding a Cube Peloton Race soon.

Carbon is nice, if you get the good stuff.

I am sure the Boardman would be great too & it's well worth the money & upgrading in future, just a bit dull looking imo, but then I am a bit too loud myself.

Let us all know how you get on, new bike time is always exciting.

The big brands , Spesh, Cannondale ,Giant seem to be in competition for the putting the worst wheels on their bikes
FWIW Cannondale are winning

Well, I have been to the LBS and had a look at the Giant defy 1( I know this bike wasn't an original choice of mine) and the Cube peloton race, and decided to get the cube, as was recommended by the salesman, due to the fact of the good spec of wheels, and the shimano 105 groupset.
Plus the fact when I saw her, it just felt right
I am getting this via the cycle to work scheme and have requested the certificate online.
Has anyone any idea how long this takes to be sent out?
