I'm seriously considering getting a Boardman Elite custom build in the next couple of months and interested to hear what specs people went for and how they're getting on with the frame in general?!
I'm still undecided on whether to go for the SLS or SLR, prefer the look of the SLR but thinking it might be too aggressive for me. I do a mix of terrain (rolling mainly) and on my shorter routes I average just over 19mph. I'm 100kg so on the heavy side!
Looking to spend in the region of £2.5-£3k(absolute max) and I've already got a saddle I'd use. Thinking of an SRAM Force 22 groupset but still baring in mind an Ultegra build. Had some quotes for some custom wheels (as discussed in my WHeel WOes thread!) which were around £475.
Not expecting to work out from a forum what I'll actually get, just ideally want some thoughts/considerations to take to the LBS who are an Elite dealer.
