boardman MTX 8.8 tyres.

i am looking at getting wider tyres for my boardman 8.8, would 700x40c SCHWALBE land cruiser tyres fit !!!
would i have enough clearance on the front fork's ect ect...

Just check the existing tyre clearance - the specs say the bike comes with 35c. Forks will be fine, but check the rear clearance at the chainstay and seat stays - it's only 2.5mm more each side and the tyre will be a little taller. Land Cruisers are a pretty darn good mixed surface tyre though. So if your riding is bridleways, tracks, canal, gravel, and road, then they are ideal.
