so walked into my local Halfords looking for a cheap gillet........see a Boardman team carbon in the the sale at £699.......even my frame size. Worth a punt?

I've had a Pro carbon for a while (pretty much the same, slightly different bits on it). For that price, it's well worth it. Quite a nice frame, and everything works together quite nicely.

Bought it.....unfortunately didn't have time to sign up up British cycling but will do for future reference thanks vickster.......got 3% cash back via quidco and £75 for my old Carrera so all in all 600 notes for a boardman pro carbon......by the way it's a weapon

medium then, halfords sizing goes by real seat tube length and the boardman have a semi compact frame , the small is a 51 .5 with a 54 cm TT

The reason I ask is that they are a grand on the halfords site!
