Hi to all.
Today my new tyres arrived and i couldn't resist the temptation to get them fitted on my old bike. Whilst I was going to fit new tyres I also thought it would be good idea to fit new inner tubes simply because I didn't know how old old ones were as I had bought the bike second hand. The front one was changed in a jiffy but when I came to take the rear old tyre off I noticed that the old inner tube was somehow folded upon itself inside the old tyre. Obviously the tube was the wrong size for the wheel but what amazed me the most was by how big the tube was. Either side of the valve it was folded back on it self by a good 3 inches making it in total 6 inches to big. I've travelled over 800 miles on the tyre and it's been no bother what so ever. I'm also intrigued as to what size this tube is. The wheel it was stuffed into was a 700c wheel ,so it must of been for something a lot bigger. Is there anything bigger than a 700c expect for a Penny Farthing lol.

700c = 27.5 inches so a six inch overlap makes the tube 33.5 inches, that would be one big wheel. My Pioneer has 29 inch wheels and I've never come across anything bigger than that, bit of an odd one is that.
