Bone-conduction Headphones

Anyone use them? I got some today... They're great.

I can hear my music whilst also being able to hear the traffic. I can hear the other person during Road rage, they even fit if I wear my helmet or don't wear it. And if I wear my hi-vis jacket or not, it doesn't affect them.

If I'm in a crowded room or a few people are chatting away nearby then I don't need something actually stuffed in my earholes to distract me sufficiently away from the principal person I'm speaking to that I can need to double check what they've said. For that reason I'm out, but if they work for you, enjoy.

I'm a bit like Ian, I don't listen to music while cycling.

Birds make natural music as does the flowing of a stream etc etc

Not many steams on the road. Just to put it out there, I don't ways have music. Not that it matters if I do or not... I have used music whilst cycling for year and years, I think as a result my observations have improved too.

Interested to hear about their longevity, I tend to go for £5 over the ear ones from TK Maxx just because they get a rough time of it and are cheap to replace. I almost always ride with music (and will most likely do so for the Ride London) but have spent quite a while tuning the volume so I can hear sufficient stuff around me.

They sound good I was looking at those last week - whats the sound quality like? Was going to get my wife some, not cycling related. Did you get wired or Bluetooth?

Do they work well with speech radio stations like Radio Four? There are some mornings where I wouldn't mind listening to Today on the ride in or the Six O'Clock News on the way home.
