I have a fairly new pair of Bontrager shoes(road).
I bought a size 9 which is my shoe size and they fitted perfectly.
Sorry, I don't own a pair of Shimano shoes, but the BT's fitted true to size. Hope this helps!

FWIW they are Bontrager RL road (white)
From Evans. When I bought them they were priced at around £140, but reduced to £70.
