Thanks.I don't use my Wi-Fi a lot but I know they do all the time as they have one of those cameras outside and im sure it's to do with that.(and it's always on)

The problem is my remote control sockets dont work very well,especially the ones on the wall next to the Chinese.Seems I have poor radio reception as well.Esp at their side.Im sure it's connected.

Oh and I do know what channel they are using,we are using different channels.

indeed. can't seem to do that with apple's proprietary software, but the application that came with a £12 wifi dongle shows not only all the neighbouring networks, but also the channel number and other info.
