A shoe with a polycarbonate toecap. Keeps the weight down and stops my little leggies getting tired!

Trainers or an old pair of walking shoes that are well passed their best but are still really comfortable. Doesn't really matter what I wear though I'm a taxi driver I just sit on my arse all day

Non leather shoes/boots.

Walking boots for when I'm walking/cycling. Shoes when I don't have to walk to far.

Slippers (very occasionaly) at home.
I mostly commute on a motorbike, so boots on the way to work. Then slip on a nice pair of brogues, then boots again. I tend to do walks with the dog, so sometimes my Decathlon wellies, sometimes my Scarpa SL3s.
I have seen a rather fine pair of heavy duty brogue boots complete with the little extra patch for the gear lever. Mind you, should really have hook lacing for the top bit, and not cheap.

I'm a bit of an Imelda as it is, but would like a pair of country weight brogue boots, but maybe not these. I quite like £400 shoes but tend to go for "seconds" for maybe £150
