I like Boris. We complain that we get boring plain vanilla spin doctored politicians and yet as soon as one shows a bit of character and personality we ridicule them. Behind the facade of buffoonery there is a very sharp mind. Read some of his writings and very clever and amusing speeches - the Trafalgar Square "See you in London" one about the countdown clock and the snap Olympics being just one example.
