They came out a few years ago. I'm pretty sure they were little more than promotional merchandising for what was then the push to get people to switch to oyster cards.

I think you'll find that it's at the correct angle for phone usage. He'll adjust it later for cycling!

Oh dear!! Funnily enough I did exactly the same ting at work today, running round field at lunch-time playing football with a group of Yr5/6's, started heading towards the ball my legs suddenly began to buckle & I collided head first into a small child!

Why? AIUI Boris doesn't believe wearing a helmet makes any difference whatsoever and wears one purely to stop people going on about it all the time. In which case it doesn't matter how he wears it. Given that research indicates 96% of cycle helmets are worn incorrectly, he's in good company too.

Although most people may not wear their helmet correctly, I don't see many sporting one at such a rakish angle that it is actually in danger of impairing their vision..

I am also somewhat intrigued by the red nodules at either side. Are they lights? Horns? Transmitter nodes to the mother ship?
