I recently bought a 1968 Carlton Cobra and I want to put a bottle cage on it but there are no cage mount points on the frame. Does anyone have any suggestions for how I could attach a bottle cage? Ideally, I'd like it to be in keeping with the age of the bike, even if it is a modern solution.

Found in the Yorkshire hills ...
Velo Orange do chrome bottle cage clamps, that allow you to add a bottle cage: https://freshtripe.co.uk/velo-orange-bottle-cage-clamp/

My son's got some for his project orange Carlton Corsa.

I have just put some Topeak mounts on tge mixte. They're like large plastic jubilee clips. Once mounted and trimmed, they don't look too bad on an old frame. Around 8 quid, generally.
