Bought a bike. Now what colour handle bar tape?

I know this a very personal choice. But like to hear what colour handle bar tape you prefer (black or celeste). Your choice/reasoning may assist my decision.

Black as it will not get grotty so easily, the other colour you will spend a long amount of time cleaning, baby wipes are good for this.
Some of the pro teams which use light coloured bar tape or white tape have been know to rewrap before each stage.

Would not do Celeste tape though as its too much, black or white should be the options

The celest never matches the frame that well so i would go black, white would look best but not for every day use as it looks grubby to quick but its a personal choice thing.

When doing a few little upgrades on my bike, I bought a white seat. I then realised that it looked silly with black tape, so I bought some white stuff.
My bike frame is mostly black with little bits of orange and white so I think my choice was the right one.

I would say in your case that black goes better.

Black simple and classic the Bianchi turquoise just makes the bike look to cluttered and bright IMO.

White or black will go with the saddle in the picture but will you go with the saddle? That might affect the final decision.
