Agree with other posts, chemical anchor bolts, you can easily get them the length you require. I'd also drill small holes and insert battery operated LED's on all 4 sides of the shed, this alone will put off opportunists. I did this after all my bikes were stolen several years ago, now LED's are all that have protected my 5 bikes since. I just can't be bothered with locking and unlocking various chains and locks to go for ride, if they want it they'll get it.

Yes it will on the house insurance and what do you suggest i do just go get a mortage and a buy a house while working on a zero hour contract

But you bought a £2k bike:rolleyes:

Give your parents a slap. A bike like that in a shed with inappropriate locks will increase the theft risk and (in the end) will increase their household premiums if the bike disappears.

Will it even be covered is another question , even with insurance they have maximum values, minimum locks and exclusions
