Bought a very late Pug steelie

Saw this locally, thought it was a bit of a bargain

Peugeot Performance, 16 Speed Sora STI groupset, Miche headset, ITM bars, Ofmega chainset, Rigida wheels.

Nice Columbus Aelle CMn steel framset (surprisingly light, 10kg ish all in), few chips, nothing a bit of T-cut and touch up paint won't sort.

Came with a pair of hardly used Sidi shoes and Look Arc pedals and cleats (gonna be for sale shortly).

The seller also chucked in a TacX turbo all for £150

Gear cables, brake cables, new bearings (wheels, headset)

Already have tyres, tubes and a couple or other bits and bobs to put on.

Ahh but, by buying new you're spared the trauma of being shouted at for having the kitchen sink full of greasy bike parts and filling the house with the aroma of WD40

I've never re-cabled STI shifters so should be fun.

The turbo and shoes are up for sale, should be about £70 worth (£20 turbo, £50 shoes)

Getting there.

Need to get the caps for the cranks.

Wheel cleaning tomorrow and re-fit tyres/tubes.

LBS sorted the rear wheel for me today for £10

New wheel bearings fitted, wheels cleaned, polished and tyres re-fitted

Handlebars and saddle fitted.

Will do cabling tomorrow and re-fit chain. If that goes well will put bar tape on aswell.

The fun part will be setting up the gears and brakes, always takes me ages to get them working well.
