I went to Pearsons, Sutton, to spend my Halfords C2W vouchers. I had £580 and bought a Trek FX7.3 Mud Guards, Rack, Altura night vision jacket & spesh helmet .

It's nice to ride a bike that fits, 2 sizes bigger than the Sirrus I got through Halfords last time, that they refused to change. Anyway, that's history, I'll pick it up Saturday and looking forward to my commute.

I look forward to seeing your review of the Night vision at this time of year

it's a cracking jacket other than it has to be very cold or you ride very slowly at night to make it cool enough

Good choice. I've had my Trek Valencia for just over a week and now I've got the saddle height right I'm LOVING it. So much so I rode an extra 10 miles around Clapham on Saturday helping out with a charity event.

I can only imagine that the Sirrus was a lot better than the carrera subway I was using before so maybe you won't get the wow factor I did.
