Dunno where I'm going but the sun is shining so I'm definitely going!
Kids otherwise occupied, parents going visiting so I've no one to feed or entertain. Possibly a whizz through the deer park at Fountains Abbey.

I was far too tired to get up early, and it’s all chores for me now until midnight.

Hope you lot are having fun :becool:

I think it more likely I'll be on the other side of the loch but my brother and I use that side quite often. The Buchanan Arms to Rowardenan was one short route, same Buchanan Arms to Aberfoyle over the back road was another or even round Loch Katrine once we got there when were feeling particularly energetic. Enjoy wherever you go.
The overnight snow and ice put a stop to any plans I had. Did you get out?

I had to get everyone fed and sorted so got out about 12.30. No whizzing through the deer park as there were so many families out walking. No deer to be seen. Round to Ripon and then home. Just 28 miles but my feet were freezing for the last 8. Nice and warm now with a beer in front of the fire.

Only time to queezean hour in, which turned into an hour and a half after my second puncture and stroll to Halfords. Small piece of glass perfectly hidden between both sides of the tyre surfaces. Took ages to find it. Then it bucketted down and got proper cold.

All that for 14.3 miles!

My plan to get out the door by 06:30 and back home by 09:30 having done circa 40 miles didn't exactly work.

Left the house at just after 08:00 and didn't get back until gone 1pm after doing 66 miles. Did meet our lass at 10:30 at Sutton Wharf for a coffee so all was good. ^_^
