Once upon a time boys would be happy building a six foot high model of the Eiffel Tower with Meccano but that is rather old hat now as this twelve year old can boast of building a nuclear reactor in his bedroom with parts bought from ebay;

We'd a school kid building bombs in his bedroom nearby. Often he'd just throw them into the field outside when he finished them.

Probably not - he's probably given the family lethal doses of radiation.

I used to work in the 'nuclear industry' and went inside Sizewell B's reactor/pressure vessel before it was finished. God knows what radiation the poor lad created.

Manchester Uni had a building taken out of use with 'nuclear stuff' being in where it shouldn't be - this was a few years back. It's not stuff that falls out of your pocket 'simpsons' style...
