I'm sure I read another article about a boy who built his own nuclear reactor a few years ago. And there was another about a kid who built a nuclear bomb, except I don't think he'd actually got hold of any enriched uranium or plutonium.

You beat me to it . I can remember the programme from years ago . He was lucky not to have been locked up! He created a big clean up operation for the authorities.
