We shop at morrisons becuase we get 10 % off what with the wife working there, local sainsburys is the equivilant of the corner shop for me.Took the kid to the park and he wanted some sweets, i do not buy it regulary but they always used to stock it .Plenty of mags about football and cars they could have binned

We've got a Tesco Express that sprang up virtually overnight, morality of squeezing out local shops aside, they do stock Cycling Weekly

I've never been pestered by the car washers.

But then, I don't have a car.

Does annoy me slightly that when they aren't working, they lock their spray machines to a bike stand, but then our Sainsburys does have plenty of stands...

We decided to subscribe when they had their half price subscription offer for 6 months (ended at the end of Aug). When I went online I found that a years subscription was £44 so went for it. Works out to about 85p a copy, also because of an address SNAFU (at their end) they added an extra fortnight of subscription on to my year as well, so its down to 82p a copy. Bargain.

Sainsburys is a shop we use occasionally as Tesco is miles away, as is ASDA. We have a Waitrose closer than Sainsbugs but their value range is out of my budget.

I agree the prices are a total rip-off. The only other supermarket we have in my own home town is Aldi and it is way better value for good quality items.

Of the big supermarkets, only Sainsbury's sells Total Carp.
