He later, as a vicar, married his sister to a bloke named Ron.

I got this earlier, but why was his name Ron...Now I'm the dumb one
I think about the marbles and it makes sense and then I think about the doors again and it doesn't and now my head hurts and I'm going to have to go away somewhere that has very dim lighting and drink a *lot* of beer, so thank you *very* much....don't call us we'll call you...

*sniff*
me too...makes no sense, like I said, what if you re-choose the same (after one has gone) door, your chances go for 1/3 to 1/2 .....but it's the same door!!!

it's the same door but when you originally chose it, it was 1 out of 3 possibilities. you are now choosing the alternative door for the first time and as it's 1 out of only 2 doors, the odds are better for you.

clear as an unopened door, hey?

It's not as simple as that. Like I said, it depends on your definitions.

May also be down to how you ask the question. I asked -

"Name the states of the USA that are the furthest north south east and west."

Which I hope pinned it down. Furthest East being the tricky one. Part of Alaska being to the right of Japan on the map it is to the east. So rater like the north pole being the furthest north, the 180degree line is the furthest east or west you can go.

If you head east you end up to the west of where you started!!

Oh look it is coming up to beer o'clock - byee
