Bread maker prices, is it just me ?

I have a Morphy Richards which makes a nice loaf.
Thinking of buying one for my daughter as she is gradually taking over mine.
Google tells me that even a basic Panasonic is now £127.
Going back I know but I'm sure I paid less than £50.00.
A lot of pennies to make your own bread.

Main problem with that one is it only makes 1Lb size loaves which are not big enough for our needs.

But the taste is so much better than factory bread.
Also you can introduce your own ingredients. Last Friday we had chives and green olive bread.

There are always offers on, discount codes etc so choose one or two that meet your needs and search out the best price!

Or just simply make loaves by hand. Then all you need is a bowl, a plastic bag that fits over the bowl, a banneton and a terracotta "chicken brick".

I used to put various types of seed in.
My daughter is making madeira cake at the weekend.
