OK, a slight correction to my previous statement: Mayonnaise has no place on the breakfast table, except if you're in America where apparently it's valid to serve massive dollops of fat with every meal/snack/beverage.

Got to comment on TVC's post regarding our American friends because I think if you want a great cooked brek the good ol' US really gets it right. Without resorting to those weird hash brown thingys you get over here.
